We would like to give everyone a sneak preview of what it will be like once we re-open our doors. The newly remodeled TP will have many new features while retaining its quaint, warm atmosphere and hospitable staff. Our founding restaurant will now be able to offer the full Turning Point menu, inclusive of our homemade specialty pancakes. We are expanding our “To Go” Coffee area to help our neighbors get a great and speedy start to their day. Available will be delicious premium baked goods, fresh squeezed juices and of course our custom locally roasted coffee. The restaurant’s renovation will entail a custom built gas fireplace for cozying up to during those cold months, booth seating to accommodate larger parties, and a covered outside patio for outdoor dining. Turning Point of Little Silver will now encompass 75 seats. While the store will grow in size, our passion and our service will remain focused on you, our guest. The management and staff are looking forward to showing you around your new and improved family friendly restaurant. Open 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Turning Point Coffee and Tea Salon was originally a gourmet lunch and dinner restaurant. The "Tea Salon" as it was known in the community served a wide variety of loose teas and coffees. Their dinner menu was gourmet oriented and appealed to a small group of customers. Kirk Ruoff purchased the Tea Salon from the original owner and changed the menu and the hours of operation. He kept the name The Turning Point and with a remodeled kitchen and dining room the new Turning Point Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch restaurant opened its doors to the public in the Spring of 1998. The new format was an immediate success. The reputation in the community for serving high quality, unique breakfast and lunch entrees was established including a wide variety of loose teas, coffees and specialty drinks. Customers today enjoy the cozy 37 seat dining room and the friendlyattentive atmosphere that the staff of the Little Silver Turning Point has created. General Manager: Angela Bavaro |
